Team India has been declared for the ODI World Cup 2023. BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar announced the names of 15 players of the Indian team. Cricket ODI World Cup 2023 to be played in India is starting from 5th October. The Indian team will play its first match against Australia on October 8 at Chepauk ground in Chennai. 15 out of 18 players selected in the team playing for the Asia Cup :

Out of the 18 members of India’s team that was selected for the Asia Cup currently going on in Sri Lanka, 15 players have been included in the World Cup team. Tilak Verma, Prasiddha Krishna and Sanju Samson present in the Asia Cup team could not find a place in the World Cup team. Yuzvendra Chahal has also not got a chance in the team

India-Pak match on 14th October :

The India-Pakistan World Cup 2023 match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) on 14 October. This World Cup will run for 46 days, in which 48 matches will be played. Its inaugural match will be played on October 5 between the previous World Cup winners England and runner-up New Zealand in Ahmedabad.
